Available dimensions depend on the selected series. Browse the product list and verify the complete frame dimensions, thickness and mounting drawing for your exact model before ordering.

The catalog includes different DC voltage versions. Check the rated voltage and operating voltage range on the exact model page; do not apply the voltage range of one model to another.

HD (High-speed), MD (Medium-speed) and LD (Low-speed) are pre-set speed variants of the same physical fan model. HD delivers the highest airflow and static pressure at a higher noise level, LD runs quieter with reduced airflow, and MD sits in between. This lets you pick the performance/noise balance that fits your system without changing the fan footprint.

Bearing options depend on the model and configuration. Confirm the ordered bearing code, mounting orientation, ambient temperature and duty cycle against the model-specific documentation.

Service-life ratings depend on the exact model, bearing, test temperature, mounting and duty cycle. Request the relevant life rating and test conditions; a general hour figure should not be assumed to apply to every fan.

Ingress protection must be confirmed for the exact model and ordered configuration. Share dust, moisture and outdoor exposure requirements, and ask for the relevant rating and supporting documents before selection.

Share the required airflow at your system pressure, installation space, supply voltage and noise limit. Ask which existing model or configuration can meet the operating point, and confirm any custom development separately.

A free-air CFM number only tells you how much air the fan moves with nothing in its way. Once it's pushing air through a filter, heat sink, narrow duct, or a tightly packed enclosure, static pressure — not free-air CFM — determines real performance. Two fans with identical CFM ratings can have very different static pressure curves, so the one with lower static pressure will lose much more airflow under resistance. Share your enclosure's actual airflow path (filters, ducting, obstructions) and we can recommend a fan matched to your real back pressure, not just the datasheet's best-case number.

Herays supplies DC axial fans, PC case cooling fans, high-speed blower fans, centrifugal fans, and customized cooling fan solutions for electronics, computers, industrial equipment, power supplies, 3D printers, LED systems, and compact thermal management applications.

A DC axial fan moves air in a straight direction through the fan frame and is commonly used for general cooling and ventilation. A DC blower or centrifugal fan draws air from the inlet and pushes it out at an angle, usually with higher static pressure, making it suitable for narrow ducts, heat sinks, compact devices, and restricted airflow paths.

Choose higher airflow when the fan is moving air through an open space, such as a case exhaust or general ventilation. Choose higher static pressure when the fan must push air through resistance, such as filters, heat sinks, radiators, dense grills, ducts, or compact enclosures.

CFM means cubic feet per minute. It measures how much air the fan can move under standard test conditions. A higher CFM usually means more airflow, but real performance also depends on static pressure, system resistance, fan speed, blade design, and installation conditions.

Static pressure shows how well a fan can push air through resistance. It is usually listed in mmH2O, inH2O, or Pa. Fans with higher static pressure are better for filters, heat sinks, radiators, and tight airflow channels.

Yes. Common voltage options include 5V, 12V, 24V, and 48V DC, depending on the fan size and model. Custom voltage options may also be available for OEM/ODM projects.

Common DC axial fan sizes include 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 92mm, 120mm, 140mm, and larger industrial sizes. Thickness, airflow, speed, bearing type, and connector options can vary by model.

Herays fans can be supplied with sleeve bearing, hydraulic bearing, fluid dynamic bearing, ball bearing, or other bearing structures depending on the model and application. Ball bearing and FDB/HDB designs are often selected for longer service life, higher temperature use, or continuous operation.

Axial fans move air parallel to the motor shaft and are best for open-path airflow with low to medium resistance, such as ventilating an enclosure. Blower (centrifugal) fans generate higher static pressure and are better suited for pushing air through ducts, filters, or tightly packed components. Tell us your airflow path and resistance and we can recommend the right type.

These codes identify model-specific monitoring and control options. In the published function table, RD is an alarm output, FG is tachometer feedback, and PPWM is a PWM speed-control input. Verify the exact signal definition, voltage level, wiring and pinout for the ordered version; not every version includes every listed function.

Noise values are meaningful only with the relevant model's test conditions, including distance, voltage, speed and acoustic environment. Request those conditions and evaluate installed noise in your enclosure; do not assume one measurement setup applies to every model.

Use the operating and storage temperature ratings for the exact model and configuration. Share your ambient temperature, duty cycle, humidity and exposure conditions so suitability can be reviewed.

A common starting formula is CFM = (Watts to dissipate × 3.16) ÷ (allowable temperature rise in °F), adjusted for altitude and any airflow resistance in your enclosure. Send us your heat load and temperature rise target and our team can help size the right fan.

PWM (pulse-width modulation) speed control keeps the fan running at full voltage but varies the duty cycle of the drive signal, giving more precise and efficient speed control at low speeds. Voltage control simply reduces the supply voltage to slow the fan, which is simpler but less efficient and can affect starting torque at low voltages.

Protection behavior depends on the exact motor and controller configuration. Confirm whether locked-rotor protection, current limiting or automatic restart is included, and request the applicable operating conditions and wiring information.

Increasing noise can come from contamination, mounting, obstruction, resonance or bearing wear. Check the equipment manufacturer's maintenance guidance and share the model, operating conditions and noise description for review; noise alone does not identify the cause.

Mounting orientation can affect bearing lubrication and service life. Follow the exact model's approved orientation and life-test conditions, and describe whether the shaft is horizontal or vertical to avoid ambiguity.
